The Fred A. Smith Company has been in the property management business since 1946. Its founder, Fred A. Smith, was affiliated with the Floyd E. Davis Company prior to starting his own firm. On July 1, 1988, three partners purchased the company from Fred A. Smith's brother, J. Hawley Smith and his son, Fred W. Smith. In 1990 the company merged with Walsh, Mesmer & Associates an established management company.

Make sure you are replacing your Air Conditioner filter at least once per month. If you have a window AC unit, make sure you are washing your filter monthly. Not properly maintaining your filter can have a large impact on your electric bill. and the equipment

Most garbage disposal problems can be solved by checking two things. Check your circuit breaker or fuse box and then check the reset button on your disposal. The reset button is usually red and on the bottom of your disposal. If neither of these resolve your issue, please file a maintenance request.

We are a full service management company; our services include, but are not limited to rent collection, pursuit of tenants for non-payment of rent, all accounts payable functions and oversight and maintenance of the physical aspects of each property.

Our major goal is to make rental-housing work for both the investor-owner and for the tenants, because without one, the other cannot survive.
